About Us

We are a small staff trying to make a big difference by encouraging anti-war activity. We will act as a service provider for local groups: offering advice, organizing and media tips and tools, and training local activists. We will provide literature, buttons, speakers, bumper stickers, posters.

Our media campaign will be run by Fenton Communications, which has done similar projects for more than two decades, including efforts to stop Reagan's wars in Central America, to end apartheid and to prevent the Iraq war.

Beth Bogart is a partner at Fenton Communications, where she has worked since 1984. She formerly directed its Washington office and for many years was the firm's creative director. She was previously a Capitol Hill reporter and worked on the editorial page of The Washington Post. Contact Beth:

Mickey Friedman is a writer and award-winning filmmaker. He helped create an anti-Vietnam war group at City College (NY) and the Housatonic River Initiative (which pressured G.E. into a $500 million cleanup of PCBs). He recently co-founded Berkshire Win Without War, a 700-member grassroots organization that has hosted forums; made newspaper, radio and TV ads for local media; and mounted demonstrations before and during the Iraq war.
